Prairie Flower Welcomes Community to Celebrate National School Choice Week
Home to one of the Midwest’s premier private universities, a progressive regional community college and a robust collection of school districts unwaveringly focused on 21 century learning, Macon County opens doors for its community members. From adult education that fits with the pace of your lifestyle to revolutionary programs that seamlessly bridge the gap from student to graduate, this is learning without boundaries.
Macon County boasts a variety of educational options ranging from public to parochial, public charter and homeschools, magnet to Montessori. January 24-30 is National School Choice Week and Prairie Flower Montessori School will hold an event to celebrate. They welcome the Decatur and Macon County community to join them on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the school, 3130 Turpin Road, Decatur. Prairie Flower Montessori School is a Montessori school serving children age 4 months through elementary school, and the event will feature a look into what a Montessori program offers for your child and family.
Prairie Flower is one of more than 12,000 schools participating in National School Choice Week. The goal of the Week is to shine a positive spotlight on all types of education options for children—from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and homeschooling.
