GED/High School Equivalent Certificate
Need your GED or High School Equivalent certificate? Richland Community College has you covered. Registration and Screening will take place May 14 – May 17.
Classes occur May 24 – June 24 on campus at mornings and nights, and at the Decatur Public Library in the afternoon.

Basic Nursing Assistant
The Richland Workforce Consortium will be sponsoring a Basic Nurse Assistant class this summer. This class will prepare students for the Illinois Dept. of Public Health/IDPH certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Registration for the orientation and screening process will be held May 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the Decatur Public Library. Class starts May 24, 2021. Emergency Medical Services Classes
Two basic classes will be offered this summer at Richland Community College: EMS 120 (classroom and lab portion), EMS 125 (clinical).
Classes will take place June 1- July 22. To register, apply to the college and follow steps to enroll in classes or call 217-875-7211, ext. 6267 for assistance.
CNA Courses
Three CNA courses still have openings at Richland Community College this summer. Classes will be held May 24-July 26 and will be a hybrid format with lecture taking place virtually.

Culinary/Hospitality Bridge/Integrated Career Awareness and Preparation System (ICAPS)
This Intro to Culinary class prepares students to pass the food manager’s license. This class runs May 24th – June 24th on the Richland Community College Campus.

CDL Permit Courses
The first step to getting your CDL license and onto a profitable new career!
Both daytime and nighttime classes are offered at Richland Community College. Daytime classes take one month to complete, attending 8 hours per day for 4 weeks. Nighttime classes take 2 months to complete, attending 4 hours per night for 5 days per week.
Sessions begin:
May 24th (day and night classes offered)
June 28th (day classes only)
August 2nd (day and night classes offered)
